In order to achieve the new climate and energy 2030 targets the importance of the next EU Budget, in particular Cohesion Policy funds, the recovery package and the Just Transition Mechanism need to be recognised both by the European Commission and Member States.
At the workshop, we will be looking at how EU funding from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, Cohesion Policy funds and the Just Transition Fund can deliver on the higher climate ambition and what role National Energy and Climate Plans play in the process. The workshop also provides opportunities for multilateral exchange on the experiences and best practices on climate integration in accordant EU funds spending plans.
